I am very saddened by Mark Driscoll's ministry, if that is what one would call it.

The Scripture that best describes his ministry is: Titus 1:11, Tts 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

We need to pray for this man and those that are being led astray by his teachings. We all were capable of such things before God graciously called us to Him. May our gracious heavenly Father convict this man and bring Godly reverence back to his pulpit.

I recently decided that becoming a teacher was just not worth it. It isn't just parents losing hope in American public schools. It is potential teachers, students, community organizations, and anyone and everyone, except the secularists.

Having been on a credential program at CSUF, I would never recommend it to any parent. They would best serve their children by teaching them themselves.

I noticed the 3:16 on Tebow during the game. Is he an evangelical, or a Mormon? I ask simply because "missionaries" have become more widely known as a Mormon ministry than evangelicals these days. Either way, I'm glad people are looking at John 3:16.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your comment. In actuality, this article is not intended to indicate our endorsement or non-endorsement of any of the items listed ... we are simply reporting several recent headlines of interest to the conservative evangelical community.

I am new to the internet but really enjoy this blog. May I humbly ask you, why would you promote in any fashion Mark Driscoll and his shock jock approach to Christianity and pulpit ministry?

Surely Dr. MacArthur doesn't approve of his ways. So why mention him?

Curious,
Bill
