We’re all so thankful for GTY’s generosity. I trust the Word of God will be proclaimed and will edify many more given this ministry decision. Thank you!

I cannot express in words the rich blessings that have come as a product of the Holy Spirit working through the preaching of Pastor John MacArthur and continue to flow through daily feeding from such an abundant well of devoted study of God’s word. I’ve never had a problem paying for such a treasure, but am overjoyed at the opportunity for anyone now to be able to drink from the well of wisdom and knowledge as God’s word is taught expositorily. May the Lord continue to abundantly bless the minstry of GTY and Grace Community Church as well as all of those who serve to spread God’s word throughout the world. May it be the Lord’s pleasure to grant us the opportunity to hear John preach through the entire New Testament in his time here in this life. As I am sure you will often see expressed here, thank you so very very much John for all you continue to do in service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Any idea whether these free resources will eventually apply to the Audio/Video resources from the 2005-2008 Shepherd’s Conference?

Can I say “thank you” enough times? I confess it surprised me this was not done a long time ago, but thank you for making this available.

Others will be reading John Messages a hundred years from now. He is another Spurgeon. I have been listening and reading John since.

Thank you so much for these resources! I had some of these sermons on cassette tape that now snap, crackle and pop. Personally it is like going to a great banquet and having all the choice dalicacies of spiritual truths that will last forever. Thank you once again. May the Lord continue to bless this great ministry through the years ahead.

    @bob haha… you’re ipod is smoking…

I’m going straight for Matthew’s Gospel… One of the things that I really appreciate about John (among other things) is his historical emphasis. No other preacher brings you back 2000 years the way Johnny Mac does, which I believe to be paramount in understanding the scriptures properly. I can hear him saying now, “whatever the scriptures meant for the people back then is exactly what it means for people today”. A supreme example of this would be his teaching of the popular parable he calls “A Tale of Two Sons”. And of course also the gospels, Matthew in particular.

All of this would be impossible without hours and hours of reading and researching and it is this that I am so grateful for. Isn’t it a wonderful thing to know that the people of God do not labor in vain? Really, how tremendous!

    Has Pulpit closed down?

Come on Nate…I am anxiosly awaiting your next article…

Perhaps you would comment on the John 3:16 meeting held at Woodstcok recently, and it’s relation to “by this you will know that you are my disciples…YOUR LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER”?

Our brother Al Mohler might also have some helpful insights into why some brothers in the grace of Christ seek division out with such intent and unfounded fears.

I await your next article either way and will prayerfully hope that our fires be not extinguished by the fear of man, but that it would be set ablaze by the fear of the LORD, seeking to preach the gospel of grace to every creature, that repentance and remission for sins in Messiah may be procliamed and accepted and applied by Grace alone through Faith in Christ’s Person and work alone, our behalf.

    Soli Deo Gloria.

Praise God for this gracious extension of generosity. John MacArthur is among the best, the brightest, and most genuine, no doubt there will be fruit aplenty.

Thank you so much, Dr. MacArthur, and those at GTY.

Why haven’t there been any new posts since this one on Nov. 5th?

Grace to you and peace, in Christ Jesus our LORD.

I am prayerful for our brothers and sisters in LA, as the extensive wildfires are destroying so many livelihoods and homes.

May it be a great time of bringing the Gospel of grace in along with compassionate care.

I have only learnt of these ravaging fires this weekend. My apologies for wondering what you where all up to, you clearly have areas of responsibility and care which take presedence.

Having worked with wildfires in South Africa I know the perils that they present and the fear and panic they can create. Yet, we know that in all this the LORD is working out all things for the good of those that love Him - eternally.

May we focus more clearly on the eternal treasures that we possess and that we may “Wellspring” into the lives of others for an eternal inherintance which is not going to burnt away at that Day.

With much prayer and love to all the brethren and your Communities in California.

The articles at this place are biblical, encouraging, constitutive, refreshing and exhortatory.
All this we found in 2.Timothy 3:16.
So I beg for the sfpulpit-team with the words in 2.Timothy 4:2 and 5:
“preach the word; be ready in season and out of season,…, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”

And yes, thanks for open your treasure!

Any news for us about the website? I haven’t seen any postings for awhile. Thanks.

Nate is on a junket in the Bahamas, paid for by his lucrative publishing deal recently inked for editing the forthcoming MacArthur book. In his absence, Pulpit is taking advantage of the break to redo our website. The new site and new posts will debut in early December.

Praise God for this wonderful blessing. Thank you Pastor MacArthur and the Grace to You family for being the conduits of this wonderful gift. There is such an overwhelming scarcity of the rightly divided and rightly applied Word of God in sermons and in print that it takes my breath away sometimes. In the middle of that vast desert Grace to You has always been an oasis. Now it’s an oasis with an unending gusher of Living Water! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Thanks for the update Jesse. I was really beginning to wonder what had happened at Pulpit Mag. I miss the valuable commuication from the Grace Gang and the resulting dialog.

Can anyone at Pulpit Magazine evaluate this site?
    http://www.studylight.org/

The Study Resources section is what I am interested in but I need some help in evaluating the tools. I do like the way the pages flow in viewing greek text verses english but I am not sure about reliablity of the data. For example, is the greek definition of a word correct without knowing greek myself.

    Thanks,
    Kelvin

I can’t begin to tell how blessed my wife and I have been through GTY.
I’ve been a follower of Christ for a little over 10 years now and have been ministered to greatly by the Lord through John MacArthur. I thank God as we go through yet another hard time. I fear the Emergent bug is beginning to infect our Church here in Phoenix and we will be on our knees a lot with the Lord about what to do. It’s getting pretty bad here. I have my ipod everywhere I go, I don’t leave home without it.

Thank you for your faithfulness to the Word and the God of the Word

I’m going to have to pull out my old iPod and use it just for John’s wonderful teaching audios! Thank you, and may God richly bless you!
