I was reminded again how important the Word of God is in our evangelism!

Your first suggestion about handing out New Testaments was exactly how I came to know Christ. Some men from the Gideon’s Bible Society were handing out free Bibles to some kids at a school bus stop. I took one and began to read- it was the first step that eventually led me to repentance and faith in Christ.

The Word of God is sufficient and powerful. It is the greatest tool we have. How will they hear unless somebody tells them?

Ask him what Spurgeon used to get his training Preachers to do before they ever got into a pulpit. He had them street preach.

While there are certainly a few grads out there we wouldn’t vouch for, it is as good a guide as any.
