Amen! Growing up in Pentecostalism, some many of the “revivals” I witnessed growing up were so devoid of Scriptural teaching and grounding. At 17, I’m glad that through the study of the Word, I was able to get out of there in a Bible teaching church.

This exhortation is a mighty blow to much of what is called evangelicalism these days. May the Church stand firm as “the pillar and support of the truth.” (1 Tim 3:15)
