We’ll begin with some wisdom on which doctrines are “non-essential”.
Short article on blogs as the friend of information but the enemy of thought.
Though the entire list is not available online yet, here is a short article discussing the 100 largest and fastest growing churches in America. It does provide the top 10 in each category.
Interesting article on the pursuit of being “cool” within our culture and its relationship to the gospel.
Dr. Darrell Bock provides a short summary of the New Perspective on Paul. It’s quite helpful for those who are not familiar with the movement.
This guy followed every rule (supposedly) in the Bible for a year. It is interesting to hear his perspective on what he learned from the Bible.
Though this is an old article, it is worth reading. This guy lists the top ten stupid things that have been said to him by Christians. It’s utterly amazing what some people will say trying to be an encouragement.
Finally, if you don’t have a regular exercise routine down, you might consider Paul Eugene and the Giving Him Praise routine . . .
I love the Spurgeon material rejecting the essential and non-essential doctrine teaching. However, in those writings Spurgeon contradicts what has been written here at Pulpit Live on that subject.
