<description>Please note that belief in the Prophets and Messengers (not the same thing, btw) requires knowing what these people preached, and since the words and deeds of Muhammad (the so-called "seal" of the Prophets) are found in the collections of Hadith and in his biographies (Sira), to believe in the Prophet means to believe in the example of Muhammad found in the Hadith and Sira. If you want to understand Islam, reading the Quran alone will not help you. You can find the Hadith as well as other Islamic helps (such as Quranic and Hadith Concordance searches) at the USC website here:

<description>"Islam also denies that Jesus died on a cross."

I found this out when I and a brother were sharing the Gospel with a Muslim couple.
They also said that the Koran is THE book of books, it's more reliable than the Bible.

They were rather cordial people, and they didn't mind arguing.

There was another time when we debated with some Muslim students from Egypt, and they seemed to think there were many roads to heaven. They are on one and we on another.
Of course we pointed out that Christ Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and therefore nullifies all other ways, truths, and lifes.

Good post some very helpful info. Thanks.</description>
