I value this book as well. I have the NASB version. I can't complain about much, although the paper quality is not good. (i.e. too transparent) That's a Nelson issue tho. Maybe someone could talk Nelson into using better paper.

This is an excellent resource in my personal library. I, too, have purchased several copies and given them to pastor friends of mine. I realize this next statement may put me at odds with many who are JMac folks. . . . However, I am one of the Pentecostals who aren't flaky (there are a few of us out there). I have intentions of being at the Shepherds Conference in March with another pastor friend of mine. . . If they will let us in. . . We promise to behave. . . God Bless. . .

I have been reading the MacArthur Study Bible since the NJKV version (still my favorite)came out. I cannot overstate how it has shielded me from error and guided me to sober reflection of God's revealed truth. Many are led into experience-driven faith and imaginary kingdom authority but this work has helped me maintain a godly humility and thankfulness (and many to whom I have given it, hopefully). I still don't agree with the Calvinist view, but Dr. M's commentaries are priceless. A classic work and thank God for it!

I absolutely agree. I believe an ESV MacArthur Study Bible would be an instant hit, and anticipation for its release might even rival that of the iPhone!

I second all the commenters above. Please consider making this wonderful resource available with the ESV which is rapidly becoming the translation of choice for most reformed evangelicals. In CHRIST alone. Bob S

Invested in this study Bible earlier this year. Love all the additional Appendices, notes, charts, and maps included that many other study Bibles do not offer.

Additionally, just love reading the wisdom that John MacArthur offers.

In Christ,
Mark
