Sorry folks I misquoted Owen. The exact quote is"be killing sin or it will be killing you". Since I had it in quotations it needed to be exact.
Victoria
P.S. Again I want to inquire if we have permission to copy these articles?

These articles on killing sin were greatly edifying. O how sin can creep up on us! We must NEVER think we have finished the battle with sin.
Someone mentioned John Owen the other day--I am reading his book that is actually 3 of his works combined and edited by Kelly Kapic and Justin Taylor. The title is "Overcoming Sin and Temptation". He says in that book"if you are not killing sin, it will be killing you". There are many such rich theological and practical statements in that book.
And thanks again to the Lord for John Macarthur who calls the church to holy living and Wholly loving the Lord. A modern day John Owen!
