I just started college and temptation is literally around every corner. I really need to kill every hint of sin in my life lest it take me over. On step three, "Meditate on the Word", I remember what the Psalmist said in Ps. 119:9-11, "How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word. With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me wander from Your commandments. Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I might not sin against You." I have found that Scripture memory is one of the best ways to combat sin. Verse 11 really nails it! John, thank you so much for this great series.
