Interesting timing on this post as we had a group of men over at our house last night and one of them raised the question of female pastors and their being "called" to the ministry. While we do not want to make light of or ignore the gifts that the Lord would give to a woman, the real issue is are they truly called if they do not meet the qualifications? If they can continue in their role as a pastor in disregard of the clear teaching of Scripture without conviction of sin, or the corresponding discipline of the Lord, have they truly been born again? If they can disregard/disrespect the Scriptures in this area what other area will they disregard?

Actually, from the information provided maybe they should be called the young and the spiritual.

Charles,

Sorry for the confusion. We changed the picture out this afternoon. The new picture is not of Jesse either.

Thanks,
Nate B.

As the united states has grown more wealthier we have certainly grown more religious. But look at the lukewarmness of christianity in america and what does that say about all the large numbers of youth going into ministry. Just my thoughts.

Charles, I believe you have misunderstood. Jesse Johnson is a MALE pastor at Grace church , not a female. The picture to the right of Jesse's name could give the impression that Jesse is a woman! I am sure it was unintentional.

It is good to continually be reminded that all authority for Truth(John 14:6;16:13;17:17), and life and godliness comes from God, and His Word to us in the Holy Scriptures. (Titus 1:1; 2 Peter 1:3).

Please continue to point us back to the true wisdom that comes from God. (Proverbs 4:7,11;9:10;Colossians 2:23).

Thank you so much.
