Pulpit Picks

(By Nathan Williams)

Saturday again means it’s time for another edition of Pulpit Picks

There are so many Christian’s blogging about so many different topics. Our goal with this Saturday post is to provide you with a list of links that we have found either interesting or helpful. So here goes. . .

On the “interesting” side of things, how can you go wrong with a video clip of Joel Osteen preaching with clever subtitles added?

On the other end of the spectrum, the T4G guys talk about the ’08 conference.

There has been much written about blogging lately, and Pastor Steve Weaver is wrapping up his series on blogging as a pastor.

Here’s is another look at the benefit of blogging from a Christian perspective.

The latest newsletter from Nine Marks is available here.

We thought this was a unique look at the practice of thinking.

And finally, three links relating to the gospel and the church to encourage you as you prepare for Sunday worship.

1) Four ways the gospel is spoiled.

2) Looks like the beginning of a fascinating series on church politics.

3) Think about it: you are undeserving of everything.
