“Act” – something done voluntarily
“Be” – to have, maintain, or occupy a place, situation, or position

By gender, men hold the position of being a man. However, we need to Biblically (voluntarily) “act” like men. The title to the conference is perfectly fitting. We (men) all need to act like men as God has called each of us. I love the title of the conference – very fitting!
